We are looking for a Lead Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer to oversee AI platform operations and manage cloud resources. You will lead the design and implementation of solutions to enhance service delivery and infrastructure efficiency. Join us to play a key role in this innovative, long-term AI platform project.
Responsibilities
- Operate and support Azure and Google Cloud resources including AKS and Databricks
- Design and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Terraform through pipeline automation
- Build and improve DevOps pipelines with YAML, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell
- Manage version control and release workflows using Git including branching strategies
- Configure and maintain Azure DevOps services such as service connections, variable groups, and access permissions
- Advise on software and infrastructure aspects related to AI platform offerings
- Collaborate within a Scrum team during sprint planning, daily meetings, and retrospectives
- Diagnose and solve infrastructure and deployment challenges proactively
- Document processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge transfer and operational consistency
- Ensure cloud environments and DevOps pipelines comply with security and governance standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
- Demonstrated expertise with Terraform deployments integrated into pipelines
- Strong knowledge of DevOps pipeline tools including YAML, Azure CLI, and Azure PowerShell
- Proficient with Git for version control and managing releases
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps services including pipelines, repositories, and security configurations
- Solid background in Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive attitude
- Effective team collaboration and clear communication of technical concepts
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+) or higher
Nice to have
- Experience working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Knowledge of Databricks components such as Spark Clusters, Workflows, and Unity Catalog
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform resources like Data Factory and Kubernetes
- Understanding of storage services such as PostgreSQL, SQL, Cosmos DB, and Blob/ADLS storage
- Exposure to Azure Networking including Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, and Network Security Groups
