Lead Manual Tester

Remote in Mexico

We are seeking a Lead Manual Tester to enhance our QA processes.

You will play a crucial role in orchestrating the QA team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. Your expertise in functional testing will help us maintain a robust testing strategy and adapt to project needs. Responsibilities
  • Develop and adjust the Test Plan and Test Strategy according to project needs
  • Coordinate QA Team activities including planning, estimation, and task prioritization
  • Manage changes by updating processes and handling improvements in project situations
  • Create and update Jira dashboards, collect QA statistics, and perform status reporting
  • Oversee automation progress within the team
  • Provide Sprint sign-off and support production releases
  • Offer constructive feedback to team members
  • Participate in various meetings including grooming, planning, and daily standups
  • Facilitate communication within the distributed team across different locations
  • Act as the offshore team representative for on-site interactions
  • Conduct functional testing of e-commerce applications across multiple platforms
  • Perform web analytics testing and validations using tools like Adobe Analytics
  • Review and analyze product requirements for clarity and consistency
  • Write and verify defects ensuring they are accurately logged
Requirements
  • 5+ years of QA experience in functional testing
  • 1+ years of leadership experience managing QA teams of 5-8 engineers
  • Basic experience in mobile testing and API/Web services testing
  • Capability to define and improve Testing Strategy
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Reliability and self-dependence in challenging situations
  • Ability to handle stress and adapt to changing project demands
Nice to have
  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development approach and Gherkin language
  • Familiarity with the e-commerce domain
  • Proactive attitude towards problem-solving
