We are seeking a Lead Mainframe Natural Developer to lead the development of reliable software on mainframe systems. The position involves managing application design, development, and maintenance using Natural programming language and supervising Adabas database administration aligned with client objectives. Join us to drive key projects and enhance our mainframe solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead application design and development using Natural programming language
- Enhance and maintain current software to meet business needs
- Manage Adabas database tasks including design, data access, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document technical requirements
- Create and run unit and integration tests to ensure software quality
- Detect and resolve defects and optimize system performance
- Document technical architectures and development workflows to support maintenance and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Proven 5+ years of experience in Mainframe application development
- Strong expertise in Natural programming language and additional Mainframe programming languages
- Thorough knowledge of Adabas database administration and tuning
- Experience working with diverse teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent skills in software testing and debugging
- Advanced proficiency in English (C1 or above)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
