We are seeking a Lead Mainframe Natural Developer to direct the development of robust software solutions on mainframe systems. You will manage the design, coding, and maintenance of applications using the Natural programming language and oversee Adabas database administration to fulfill client objectives. Responsibilities
- Direct the design and implementation of applications using Natural programming language
- Improve and support existing software to align with changing business requirements
- Manage Adabas database operations, including architecture, data retrieval, and optimization
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to collect requirements and develop technical documentation
- Develop and execute unit and integration testing to ensure software quality
- Detect and resolve software defects and enhance system efficiency
- Prepare documentation for technical frameworks and development processes to support maintenance and team knowledge
Requirements
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in Mainframe application development
- Extensive expertise in Natural programming language and other Mainframe programming languages
- Thorough knowledge of Adabas database administration and performance tuning
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong proficiency in software testing and debugging techniques
- Advanced English communication skills (C1 or higher)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
