We are looking for a Lead Mainframe Natural Developer to lead the creation of stable software solutions on mainframe platforms. Your role includes directing the development and maintenance of Natural language applications and managing Adabas database tasks to support client goals. Join us to lead key initiatives and strengthen our mainframe technology.
Responsibilities
- Guide the design and development of applications written in Natural programming language
- Support and enhance existing software to adapt to new business needs
- Oversee management of Adabas databases including design, data handling, and tuning
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to collect requirements and produce documentation
- Conduct unit and integration tests to uphold software quality
- Identify software bugs and optimize system performance
- Document technical architectures and development procedures to aid maintenance and team understanding
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven experience in Mainframe application development
- Expertise in Natural programming language and other Mainframe programming languages
- Comprehensive knowledge of Adabas database administration and optimization
- Capable of collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Proficient in software testing and debugging methods
- Advanced English communication skills (C1 or higher)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
