Lead JavaScript Developer for a Media Company

We're looking for a remote Lead JavaScript Developer with 4+ years of experience and with experience in building smart tv apps for Tizen and WebOS who will help to review the current product and come up with recommendations about improvement, assess current requirements and help to form scope for the future engagement.

The customer is an Indian subscription video-on-demand streaming service, providing the best of Indian entertainment, TV shows, LIVE cricket, news, and movies.

Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders of product to deliver new user-facing features on the website
Build reusable, high quality code and libraries for future use which can be used across multiple projects
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them
Collaborate with other team members, designers and stakeholders to deliver on the features

Requirements

A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field) degree and 4+ years’ experience as a software developer
Expert JavaScript developer (React JS)
Highly enthusiastic and enjoy learning new technologies and frameworks
Open-source contribution is a plus
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git
Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt or Gulp
Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
