Lead JavaScript Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, efficient front-end solutions using the React framework while guiding junior team members and preparing technical documentation. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to various projects, work collaboratively with business stakeholders and developers, and uphold our team's commitment to reaching sprint goals across all our applications.

Responsibilities
  • Develop efficient frontend solutions using the React framework
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation
  • Write maintainable, efficient code
  • Participate in manual and automation testing when necessary
  • Engage in back-end development as required by project needs
  • Join discussions with design, business analysis, and customers to derive optimal solutions
  • Perform cross code-reviews and switch between applications and logical domains
  • Participate in pair/mob programming and actively share knowledge on codebase
  • Contribute to the architecture of technical solutions and new approaches by building consensus within the team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of background as a JavaScript developer
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Proficiency in the React JavaScript library
  • Understanding of Amazon Web Services, REST API
  • Proven team leadership and collaborative skills
  • Background in the SCRUM framework
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation
  • Experience in Web Application Front-End Testing
  • Profound knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Skills in writing lucid, concise, and thorough test plans, checklists, and test cases
  • Proficiency in the English language (B2+ level)
Nice to have
  • Readiness to upgrade skills in automating testing using Playwright
  • Familiarity with PWA & AMP
  • Background in Python
