Lead JavaScript Developer
We are seeking a Lead JavaScript Developer to join our remote team, working in the e-commerce industry with a focus on sustainable fashion. As a Lead JavaScript Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of our web application, ensuring high-quality code and a seamless user experience. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create innovative solutions that positively impact the environment and our customers. Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our web application, ensuring high-quality code and a seamless user experience
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create innovative solutions that positively impact the environment and our customers
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing feedback and support to help them grow
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Continuously improve our development processes and tools to increase efficiency and productivity
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript development
- Experience with React
- Strong knowledge of jQuery
- Understanding of CSS and HTML
- Experience with Git and version control, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- At least 1 year of experience in leadership
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, enabling you to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
