As a Lead Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions, leading a team of developers, and leveraging AWS services to ensure scalability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Designing and architecting robust Java applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into software solutions
- Managing the development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment
- Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of software applications
- Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporating them into the development process
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Java Developer
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience, leading a team of developers
- Expertise in Java programming language and Java Bootstrapping Frameworks
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in REST, SOAP, Spring HATEOAS, and web services
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and their integration into software applications
- Familiarity with Docker, Helm, Java Microservice Infrastructure, Kubernetes, Microservice Architecture Pattern, and Terraform
- Familiarity with ReactJS for front-end development
- Proficient in Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Spring Core frameworks
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
