We're actively in search of a dynamic and highly proficient Lead Java Developer to become an integral part of our remote team.

In this role, you'll take charge of a team of developers, spearheading the evolution of the Jira system. Join us as we carve out the future of Jira entities on the backend, leveraging your Java development prowess.

Responsibilities

Guide and oversee a cadre of developers, steering the development of the Jira system
Collaborate closely with product and business teams to comprehend specific requirements and deliver top-notch software solutions
Conceptualize, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices, upholding software design principles and architectural patterns
Conduct comprehensive code reviews and furnish constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability
Tackle issues head-on, pinpointing root causes and delivering effective resolutions
Ensure the punctual delivery of software solutions, adeptly managing priorities and timelines
Actively contribute to the creation of technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to fellow team members

Requirements

Accumulated experience exceeding 5 years in Java development, showcasing a profound grasp of software design principles and architecture patterns
A minimum of 1 year spent leading a team of developers and overseeing the software development lifecycle
Proficiency in databases such as AWS RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, with hands-on expertise in data modeling, performance optimization, and SQL
Robust familiarity with Amazon Web Services, demonstrating the adept application of AWS services to enhance Java development processes
Exceptional troubleshooting skills, adept at deciphering logs and navigating through Java code
Proficient in the Spring Boot framework, showcasing adaptability in software development
Strong command of spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with Jira, showcasing a deep understanding of Jira entities and development practices
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or CircleCI, highlighting expertise in DevOps practices
