Lead Java Developer
We are looking to bring an experienced Lead Java Developer to expand our technology team.
Our ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge in Java/J2EE application design and development along with practical Liferay experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation and delivery of extranet/customer portals
- Set up and adjust Liferay sites and organizations with permissions
- Craft portlets, tailor custom themes, and develop WCM features within Liferay
- Execute logging, usage metrics, audit trail, and apply usage analytics
- Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of Liferay applications across production and non-production settings
- Design and implement portal solutions utilizing Liferay
- Engage in integrative tasks between Liferay and external systems
- Innovate and develop proprietary solutions using Liferay
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in Java/J2EE application design and development
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Mandatory Liferay proficiency
- Comprehensive understanding of the MVC design pattern
- Skilled in Hibernate and Spring frameworks
- Proven experience in Web services, Service/System Integrations
- Practical experience working with Microservices
- Familiarity with T-SQL
- Acquainted with JavaScript
- Fluent in English with communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Previously worked with OSGI framework
- Experience in RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Experience with Servlets and JSP
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS
