We are looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our team and work on an exciting project in the financial services industry.
You will be responsible for participating in an agile-based software development life cycle, including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews. Also, you will collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of the components, and provide feedback on the architecture, design, technology choices, and technology direction of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the software development life cycle of the project, including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews
- Collaborate with the production support team to release and maintain the components of the platform
- Provide feedback on the architecture, design, technology choices, and technology direction of the platform
- Develop real-time event-driven applications using Java-core
- Work with a globally distributed team to ensure project success
- Implement test-driven development and continuous integration practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with Java-core
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Practical knowledge of Java-core: multithreading, GC optimization, collections (including concurrency collections)
- Good understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices
- Experience developing real-time event-driven applications
- Ability to work as a part of a globally distributed team
- Strong problem solving skills
- B2+ English level proficiency for effective communication with team and stakeholders
