Lead Java Developer
We are looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our newly formed team focused on delivering exceptional end-to-end payment experiences. Our mission is to optimize payment orchestration, minimize revenue leakage, and ensure transparency in billing and credit processes. You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems, driving innovation in payment workflows while ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems with a focus on long-term impact and quality
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and system design
- Optimize databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and query performance
- Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation
- Ensure high-quality software through rigorous unit and integration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical solutions and business requirements
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends, driving continuous improvement within the team
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in back-end development with a strong foundation in programming principles
- Proficiency in Java and Spring framework
- Experience working with SQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with system design and architecture, including microservices and design patterns
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong background in unit and integration testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude, ownership, and a drive for operational excellence
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving business requirements
- English level B2+
