Lead Java Developer

Java, Apache Kafka, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, Secure Coding, Spring Boot, ReactJS

We are looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our newly formed team focused on delivering exceptional end-to-end payment experiences. Our mission is to optimize payment orchestration, minimize revenue leakage, and ensure transparency in billing and credit processes. You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems, driving innovation in payment workflows while ensuring seamless integration and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems with a focus on long-term impact and quality
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and system design
  • Optimize databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and query performance
  • Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation
  • Ensure high-quality software through rigorous unit and integration testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical solutions and business requirements
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends, driving continuous improvement within the team
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in back-end development with a strong foundation in programming principles
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring framework
  • Experience working with SQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization
  • Hands-on experience with system design and architecture, including microservices and design patterns
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong background in unit and integration testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude, ownership, and a drive for operational excellence
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving business requirements
  • English level B2+
