Lead Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team remotely.

As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for leading software development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of features and products.You will design, develop, and maintain software systems according to business needs and requirements, as well as create and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines. You will also participate in code reviews, ensure best practices are followed, and contribute to the improvement of engineering processes and practices

Responsibilities
  • Lead software development efforts, ensuring timely and quality delivery of features and products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, developers and testers
  • Design, develop and maintain software systems according to business needs and requirements
  • Create and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines
  • Ensure timely resolution of software defects and issues
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
  • Actively contribute to the improvement of engineering processes and practices
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in Java
  • At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Experience with Agile methodology and Amazon Web Services, ReactJS and Apache Kafka
  • Strong knowledge of Microservice Architecture Pattern and REST API
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot
  • Excellent communication skills and English proficiency at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration Development & Maintenance
  • Work from office is not required, fully remote work is possible
