Lead Java Developer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to join our remote team. As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers to design, develop and maintain software solutions using Java and Spring Boot. You will also be responsible for ensuring the team follows best practices and adheres to the project timeline while delivering high-quality code.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development team in designing and developing software solutions using Java and Spring Boot
  • Ensure the team follows best practices and adheres to the project timeline while delivering high-quality code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Develop REST APIs and integrate with other systems
  • Test software using JUnit, Selenium, and Mockito
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting code reviews and refactoring code
  • Provide technical guidance to the development team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development and related technologies
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with ReactJS and Git
  • Strong experience with REST API development
  • Experience leading a team of developers and ensuring deliverables are met on time
  • Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL and MariaDB
  • Experience with JUnit, Selenium, and Mockito for testing
  • Fluent in English with at least an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with SAP CP and AWS
  • Experience with performance testing using jMeter
  • Experience with Apache Kafka
  • Experience with PHP and Wordpress
