Lead Integration Engineer (MuleSoft API)

We are searching for a highly qualified and driven Lead Integration Engineer with expertise in MuleSoft API development to become a key contributor to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with client stakeholders to provide professional, high-caliber services
  • Support to delivery squads through contributions to scoping and estimation efforts
  • Development, configuration, testing, and maintenance of MuleSoft API and integration applications customized to client requirements
  • Promotion and application of API and integration best practices with a focus on reusable patterns, continuous enhancements, and innovation
  • Constructive code reviews ensuring compliance with coding standards and conventions
  • Execution of thorough unit and integration testing while implementing testing automation to guarantee solution quality
  • Active participation in Agile ceremonies with adherence to Agile software development methodologies
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in integration technology
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership exposure
  • Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform features such as Runtime, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Design Center
  • Expertise in designing and resolving reusable transformations through DataWeave 2.0
  • Considerable exposure to RESTful APIs and microservice architecture patterns
  • Knowledge of integration best practices, design solutions, and SaaS MuleSoft integration methods including REST APIs, asynchronous integration (webhook/platform events with message/event broker), and batch integrations
  • Background in working with connectors (database, file, web service, object store), messaging systems (e.g., JMS, Kafka, AMQP, SNS/SQS), and enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Workday)
  • Competency in synchronous and asynchronous service models
  • Skills in SQL and NoSQL database handling
  • MuleSoft Developer Certification (Mule 4) Levels 1 & 2
  • Strong communication capabilities to facilitate technical workshops and foster team collaboration
  • Familiarity with assessing project risks and advising suitable mitigation strategies
  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments with evolving requirements while consistently contributing to team objectives
Nice to have
  • Background in utilizing Cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes/Runtime Fabric (RTF)
  • Capability to design API specifications with RAML or OAS
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and usage of DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus
  • Hands-on experience working with test automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP) and understanding of XML and XSLT transformations
