Lead Go Backend Developer

We are looking for a Lead Go Backend Developer to spearhead the creation and enhancement of cloud-based data management solutions, leveraging your expertise in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

You will lead the design and implementation of microservices, oversee cloud environments, and ensure system stability and efficiency. Join our team and contribute to delivering robust backend services with continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain microservices and API endpoints
  • Guarantee high standards for product and code quality, including test coverage and maintainability
  • Optimize SQL queries and data models in PostgreSQL databases
  • Develop secure and scalable backend architectures
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
  • Oversee containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS
  • Automate infrastructure setup using Terraform
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate extensively with the client’s team to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding
  • Work closely with backend and frontend engineers within the SME team
  • Learn and apply new technologies such as TypeScript and React for cross-team support
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with Go programming language (5+ years)
  • Advanced expertise in AWS services including EKS, ECS, EC2, and S3
  • Proficient in containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases and PostgreSQL data modeling
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities for complex backend and cloud challenges
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
  • Effective communication skills and English proficiency at B2 level or above
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins
  • Understanding of microservices architecture principles
