We are seeking a talented Lead Functional Testing Engineer to join our remote team. As an experienced professional in Functional Testing, you will be responsible for coordinating the QA team, managing test strategy, and ensuring efficient testing processes. Your role will involve leading and supporting a distributed team, participating in different meetings, handling communication with the on-site team, and conducting functional testing of various applications, including e-commerce and web analytics testing.

Responsibilities
  • Development/adjustment of the Test Plan and Test Strategy according to project situation
  • QA Team coordination (planning, estimation, organizing, control, task prioritization, etc.)
  • Change management (updating process according to project situations, handling improvements) and risk management
  • Creation/Update Jira dashboards, Collecting of QA statistics, and performing status reporting
  • Providing Sprint sign-off and support for the production releases
  • Participation in different meetings: grooming, planning, Retro, daily standups generally direct communication with customer and dev managers
  • Providing feedback to the team members
  • Handle communication within the distributed team and with the leads of other PODs
  • Being the offshore team representative in communication with the on-site part of the team (resolving questions, highlighting issues, and so on)
  • Functional testing of e-commerce app on the desktop, mobile web (iOS and Android), native apps (iOS and Android) and Back end
  • Web analytics testing with Charles proxy and validations using Adobe analytics tool
  • Reviewing and analyzing product requirements for clarity and consistency with existing features
  • Writing and verifying defects
Requirements
  • 5+ years of QA experience
  • 2+ years of experience in leading QA teams (5-8 engineers)
  • Basic experience in Mobile testing and API/Web services testing
  • Ability to define and improve Testing Strategy
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Reliability, and self-dependence
  • English B2 and higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with the BDD test approach and Gerkin language
  • Experience with e-commerce domain
  • Proactivity attitude
