We are seeking an outstanding Lead Frontend Software Engineer to lead the migration of our Chrome extension from Stencil to React, craft forward-thinking technical strategies, and guide impactful future platform advancements within the automotive dealership software sector.
Responsibilities
- Define overarching technical strategies and establish ambitious long-term objectives for platform progression
- Develop an advanced roadmap for React migration, including strategies for future feature iterations
- Research emerging technologies and foster innovative approaches for automotive software refinement
- Create a scalable, high-performance platform to support extensive integration possibilities
- Lead the transformation from Stencil Web Components to a React-oriented infrastructure using best practices
- Mentor team members while developing foundational React components and implementing essential functionalities
- Elevate the alignment of Manifest v3 implementation with contemporary React principles to meet evolving needs
- Enhance state management utilizing efficient methodologies such as Redux Toolkit or Zustand for scalability
- Partner with product teams to prioritize initiatives and ensure technical direction aligns with business strategies
- Deliver critical features while hitting milestones to support production-ready MVP delivery
- Prototype innovative solutions for integrations and investigate emerging technology trends
- Facilitate integration with current and future third-party platforms via robust API and system designs
- Implement intelligent systems for contextual detection and proactive user suggestions optimized for performance
- Create scalable messaging systems to ensure seamless multi-platform communication
- Promote industry-established development methodologies while expanding reusable design patterns and libraries
Requirements
- 5+ years with React, demonstrating expertise in advanced techniques and optimization for large-scale systems
- At least 1 year of team leadership experience and mentoring knowledge
- Background in designing scalable and maintainable frontend systems for rapidly evolving software products
- Hands-on experience with Manifest v3, Chrome Extension architecture, and enterprise solutions
- Understanding of cross-context messaging, including service workers, content scripts, and browser communication models
- Proficiency using Chrome APIs such as Tabs, Storage, and Side Panel, optimized for extension-specific workflows
- Skills in performance optimization tailored to scalable browser extension applications
- Showcase of leading iterative development workflows while meeting deadlines in dynamic environments
- Competency collaborating with product teams to define technical strategies that maximize results
- Capability to adapt to shifting priorities and navigate dynamic business landscapes effectively
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
