Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of automated cloud networking configurations
- Oversee the seamless integration of on-premises infrastructure with cloud-based platforms
- Improve and maintain the performance and efficiency of our cloud resources
- Develop and enforce robust security and compliance protocols for cloud operations
- Collaborate closely with IT and development teams to ensure smooth application deployments
- Drive ongoing improvements in the management and refinement of cloud infrastructure
- Educate team members on the latest cloud technologies and best DevOps practices
- Address and resolve complex technical issues within the cloud infrastructure
- Oversee cloud financial management and predict future resource needs
- Stay informed on the latest advancements and trends in cloud technology
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in DevOps Engineering, with a significant focus on AWS technologies
- At least one year of experience in a managerial role overseeing technical teams
- Deep knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and Route 53 hybrid configurations
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS Organizations and SCPs for optimal cloud account management
- Proficient in using Terraform and other automation tools for managing AWS infrastructure
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing cloud-native applications with API Gateway & AWS Lambda (Python)
- Extensive experience in managing IAM roles, STS, federation, and cloud security practices
- Skilled in optimizing EC2, S3 policies, Lambda functions, and other AWS services for operational efficiency
- Highly skilled in Python 3 for scripting and automation
- Strong foundation in agile methodologies, demonstrating best DevOps practices, and leadership of technical teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering effective cloud solutions
- Proficient English communication skills at a B2 level or higher, for effective coordination with international teams
Nice to have
- Experience in managing Kubernetes or Docker Swarm for container orchestration
- Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies
- Certifications in AWS or other relevant cloud technologies
