Lead DevOps Engineer

We are searching for a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll be essential in deploying and continuously improving the deployment and monitoring mechanisms for third-party applications within our client’s systems. Your advanced expertise in DevOps practices will ensure optimal system performance, scalability, and superior service delivery to our clients.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated automated deployment scripts using Azure Cloud
Proactively monitor Azure environments to address issues before they escalate
Establish and enhance a comprehensive DevOps framework within the Azure Cloud
Create, document, and execute high-quality performance test plans
Mentor the development team in identifying and addressing complex performance issues
Lead defect triage and effectively prioritize issues
Provide expert guidance to the development team on creating stubs or mocks for dependencies
Coordinate and communicate daily in a dynamic startup-like environment

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or related fields
1+ years of relevant leadership experience
Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, and REST API
Extensive background in creating and managing automated deployment systems
Comprehensive familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
Strong understanding of GenAI operational principles
Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with teams located in North American time zones
Superior communication and documentation skills
