Lead DevOps Engineer

We are searching for a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll be essential in deploying and continuously improving the deployment and monitoring mechanisms for third-party applications within our client’s systems. Your advanced expertise in DevOps practices will ensure optimal system performance, scalability, and superior service delivery to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated automated deployment scripts using Azure Cloud
  • Proactively monitor Azure environments to address issues before they escalate
  • Establish and enhance a comprehensive DevOps framework within the Azure Cloud
  • Create, document, and execute high-quality performance test plans
  • Mentor the development team in identifying and addressing complex performance issues
  • Lead defect triage and effectively prioritize issues
  • Provide expert guidance to the development team on creating stubs or mocks for dependencies
  • Coordinate and communicate daily in a dynamic startup-like environment
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or related fields
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, and REST API
  • Extensive background in creating and managing automated deployment systems
  • Comprehensive familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
  • Strong understanding of GenAI operational principles
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with teams located in North American time zones
  • Superior communication and documentation skills
