Lead DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with advanced skills in AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, and networking. As a leader in the team, you will be responsible for driving the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers, ensuring best practices are followed in all aspects of DevOps and cloud solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, deployment, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on networking, automation, and security
  • Oversee the development and management of hybrid cloud networks using Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect Gateway, and Route 53
  • Take ownership of AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies (SCPs), and IAM governance, ensuring compliance and security across cloud environments
  • Lead the design and management of API Gateway & AWS Lambda (Python) solutions for scalable cloud applications
  • Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, and security practices across AWS services
  • Monitor and fine-tune performance and security of EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM roles across production environments
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to define and implement best practices in cloud architecture, DevOps processes, and automation
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Maintain high standards of security, compliance, and operational excellence in all aspects of cloud infrastructure
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, specializing in AWS technologies
  • Strong expertise in AWS networking (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53 hybrid setups) and experience leading these implementations
  • In-depth experience with AWS Organizations and SCPs to manage secure cloud account structures
  • Advanced proficiency in Terraform and other automation tools for managing AWS infrastructure at scale
  • Proven ability to lead and build cloud-native applications using API Gateway & AWS Lambda (Python)
  • Strong background in managing IAM roles, STS, federation, and cloud security policies
  • Hands-on experience optimizing EC2, S3 policies, Lambda functions, and other AWS services in production
  • Advanced knowledge of Python 3 for automation and scripting purposes
  • Solid experience with agile methodologies, DevOps best practices, and leading engineering teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of driving successful cloud solutions
  • B2+ English proficiency to collaborate effectively across global teams
