Responsibilities
  • Exhibit proficiency in C and C++ programming to produce efficient and well-maintained code
  • Make architectural decisions that ensure scalability and deliver industry-level performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish shared project goals
  • Identify performance limitations in code and optimize for multi-core and scale-out environments
  • Perform in-depth code reviews and offer constructive feedback to junior developers
  • Address complex technical challenges and craft effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in software development with a focus on distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in leading the development of entire subsystems within intricate storage solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with competency in issue resolution
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Effective communication abilities tailored for collaborative, team-oriented environments
  • Enthusiasm to engage with intricate technical topics through self-driven initiative
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Familiarity with Python programming language
