Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient and maintainable code
- Drive architectural decisions to ensure systems are scalable and deliver high-level performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve mutual project objectives
- Analyze performance bottlenecks in code and optimize for multi-core and scale-out environments
- Conduct detailed code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers
- Solve complex technical challenges and produce effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
- At least 5-6 years of experience in software development with expertise in distributed storage systems
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Background in leading the development of entire subsystems within advanced storage solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with competency in addressing technical issues
- Expertise in distributed file systems and network protocols
- Effective communication skills suited to collaborative, team-oriented settings
- Interest in exploring complex technical areas with self-motivated initiative
- Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Understanding of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
- Familiarity with Python programming language
