Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to produce efficient and well-maintained code
  • Make architectural decisions that drive scalability and ensure industry-leading performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared project objectives
  • Pinpoint performance constraints in code and optimize for multi-core scalability and scale-out setups
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews and deliver constructive feedback to junior team members
  • Solve complex technical challenges and create effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of experience in software development involving distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in developing subsystems within intricate storage solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with competency in resolving issues
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Effective communication abilities suited for collaborative and team-oriented work environments
  • Enthusiasm for exploring intricate technical domains with a self-driven approach
  • Proficiency in English communication at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Understanding of Python programming language
