Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in C and C++ programming to create efficient and maintainable code
  • Make architectural decisions that maximize scalability and achieve industry-leading performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve unified project outcomes
  • Pinpoint performance bottlenecks in code and enhance efficiency for multi-core and scale-out environments
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide insightful feedback to junior developers
  • Tackle complex technical challenges and deliver effective, innovative solutions
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of experience in software development centered on distributed storage systems
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages paired with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Background in steering the development of subsystems within sophisticated storage solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving strengths with competency in resolving technical issues
  • Skills in distributed file systems and network protocols
  • Clear and effective communication abilities suited for a collaborative team setting
  • Enthusiasm to delve into intricate technical areas with a self-motivated approach
  • Proficiency in English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Understanding of Linux or BSD kernel-level development
  • Familiarity with Python programming language
