We are seeking a Lead Data Software Engineer to join our remote team and work on exciting projects with the world's largest athletic apparel company. As the Development Lead Data Software Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data software engineering solutions, and driving the development of cutting-edge data analysis and modeling tools. Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers in designing and developing data software engineering solutions that meet project requirements
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software engineering solutions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Drive the development of cutting-edge data analysis and modeling tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, develop, and implement effective data processing pipelines
  • Optimize and fine-tune data processing pipelines to ensure enhanced performance and scalability
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster their professional growth
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in data software engineering
  • At least 1 year of experience leading technical teams
  • Expertise in Python programming
  • Strong command of Databricks and Amazon Web Services
  • Comprehensive understanding of data analysis and modeling concepts
  • Ability to design and implement efficient data processing pipelines
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools
  • Experience with Git and JIRA
