We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to elevate our data-focused initiatives by spearheading analytical projects, crafting advanced predictive models, and identifying actionable strategies.

This position entails employing state-of-the-art data science methods, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior team members, and shaping the broader data science direction within the organization.

Responsibilities

Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends, patterns, and valuable insights for business impact
Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address complex problems and drive improvements
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and preparation of datasets for effective analysis
Design and enhance scalable data pipelines to manage extensive data workflows efficiently
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to integrate machine learning models into production environments
Explore and apply cutting-edge advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science
Perform in-depth exploratory data analysis to uncover optimization opportunities and drive value
Define and document internal frameworks, methodologies, and data science best practices
Offer mentorship and career development support for junior data scientists in the team
Present complex technical information and insights clearly to both non-technical and technical audiences

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in data science, statistical modeling, and machine learning
At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising data-related teams or projects
Proficiency in Python and SQL combined with practical expertise using machine learning libraries
Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing in practical scenarios
Competency in data processing methods, including wrangling and feature engineering
Skills in using visualization platforms like Power BI to effectively convey analytical results
Background in Agile methodologies and cross-functional team dynamics
Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on driving data solutions in alignment with business objectives
Ability to simplify and convert intricate analytical findings into meaningful strategies
Advanced English communication proficiency at B2+ level

Nice to have

Proficiency in leveraging deep learning techniques and neural network frameworks
Background in utilizing cloud platforms for data storage and computational needs
Understanding of regulatory standards around data governance, compliance, and privacy
Familiarity with cutting-edge techniques in fields such as NLP or computer vision
