We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Data Scientist to drive innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies, including NLP, generative AI, and large language models (LLMs).

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the organization's data strategy, with a focus on life sciences and healthcare applications.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of LLM-based generative AI applications tailored to real-world challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and operationalize prompt engineering best practices and advanced NLP techniques
Leverage experience in developing LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain or Llama-index to improve model performance and reliability
Guide topic modeling initiatives, including the application of BERTopic, to derive actionable insights from unstructured data
Implement Responsible AI principles, ensuring AI applications adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities within the life sciences and healthcare sectors to apply generative AI solutions effectively
Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Stay updated with advancements in NLP, generative AI, and responsible AI to maintain the organization’s technological edge

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, with expertise in Python, natural language processing, and generative AI
Proficiency in leveraging large language models and applying prompt engineering for enterprise applications
Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain, Llama-index, or HuggingFace
Background in topic modeling, including practical use of BERTopic for advanced data analysis
Strong understanding of AI ethics and Responsible AI in regulated industries like life sciences and healthcare

Nice to have

Expertise in designing LLM-based solutions specifically for healthcare or life sciences applications
Skills in integrating AI-driven systems into existing workflows in regulated industries
Familiarity with experimental or emerging approaches in explainable AI or LLM interpretability
