We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Lead Data Scientist to pioneer transformative solutions leveraging advanced technologies, including NLP, generative AI, and large language models (LLMs).

This position will hold a critical role in developing the organization's data strategy, targeting impactful applications in life sciences and healthcare.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of LLM-based generative AI applications addressing real-world challenges
Partner with cross-functional teams to apply and operationalize advanced NLP techniques and prompt engineering best practices
Use expertise in LLM orchestration frameworks such as Langchain or Llama-index to optimize model outcomes
Drive efforts in topic modeling, including leveraging BERTopic to generate insights from unstructured data
Uphold Responsible AI standards by ensuring AI solutions align with ethical guidelines and regulatory policies
Discover opportunities to deploy generative AI applications within the healthcare and life sciences sectors
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior data scientists to foster a high-performance team
Stay informed on advancements in NLP, generative AI, and Responsible AI to sustain a competitive edge

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science with comprehensive knowledge of Python, natural language processing, and generative AI
Proficiency in applying large language models and prompt engineering techniques for practical applications
Familiarity with LLM orchestration tools such as Langchain, Llama-index, or HuggingFace
Background in topic modeling, including applying BERTopic for complex data analysis
In-depth understanding of AI ethics and Responsible AI practices within regulated fields like healthcare or life sciences

Nice to have

Expertise in developing LLM-centered solutions tailored to healthcare or life sciences use cases
Skills in integrating AI technologies into legacy workflows in compliance-heavy sectors
Familiarity with novel techniques in explainable AI or strategies for LLM interpretability
