Back to SearchWe are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Network Engineer to join our team, focusing on architecting, deploying, and managing network infrastructure and services within Azure Cloud.
The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in Azure networking, security, and architecture alongside strong problem-resolution and communication abilities. You will be accountable for building and maintaining resilient network infrastructures that drive cloud objectives and improve operational capacity.
Responsibilities
- Develop Azure network architectures including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups
- Set up Azure network services such as Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, and Azure VPN Gateway
- Implement network security measures to ensure compliance, including access controls, threat protection, and encryption
- Support seamless application integration with Azure network services by collaborating with development teams
- Identify and troubleshoot network performance issues while optimizing configurations
Requirements
- Proficiency in Azure networking such as virtual networks, network security groups, and associated services with 5+ years of direct experience
- Leadership experience of at least 1+ years
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Knowledge of network security measures like firewalls, access controls, and encryption
- Background in teamwork and problem-solving
- Qualifications in Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and Azure Kubernetes Service
- English communication skills at a fluent B2+ level
Nice to have
- Background in transitioning on-premises networks to Azure Cloud
- Understanding of containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Instances
- Flexibility to automate network tasks using tools like Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform
