Lead C++ Developer

We are looking for a remote Lead C++ Developer to join our team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing new features, improving automation, increasing reliability, and improving observability. You will work closely with the client and server teams to create new features for the game. Additionally, you will collaborate with the web and community teams to create new features.
As an experienced Lead C++ Developer, you will have advanced knowledge of memory management, object-oriented programming, and memory issues troubleshooting. You should also have experience with multithreaded programming, network programming, and advanced debugging skills. Experience with game engines and platforms such as Essence, Unreal, Xbox console development, and Steam development is preferred.
- Develop new features and improve automation for game clients and servers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new features for the game
- Ensure reliability and improve observability for the game
- Lead code reviews and ensure code quality
- Identify and troubleshoot memory issues and use static analysis tools such as Windbg, Dr memory, and Valgrind
- Use multithreaded programming and network programming skills to optimize game performance
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with C++
- Advanced knowledge in C++ core, memory management, and OOP
- Experience with network protocols
- Experience with game engines (preferably Essence, Unreal)
- Experience with Git, Perforce, CMake, and Visual Studio
- Proficiency with Memory issues troubleshooting (dynamic memory)
- Experience working with web sockets
- Familiarity with Static analysis tools (Windbg, Dr memory, Valgrind, etc)
- Experience with Multithreaded programming
- Strong leadership and project management skills with 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English with an Upper-Intermediate level of proficiency
