Lead Business Analyst

Remote in Mexico

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in driving project success through strategic business analysis. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of business requirements and contribute to the overall project roadmap. Responsibilities
  • Identify dependencies and clarify requirements while planning the roadmap
  • Write detailed specifications in the form of user stories using Jira and Confluence
  • Initiate and schedule meetings to gather insights and information
  • Support engineering teams to help them achieve their objectives
  • Test features and prioritize bugs to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Document and gather business requirements across multiple projects
  • Enable communication between clients and technical teams to ensure clear understanding
  • Assist teams in creating project timelines and compiling status updates
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend actionable improvements
  • Join agile ceremonies to provide valuable contributions to team efforts
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis focused on delivering projects
  • Leadership experience in coordinating and managing project activities
  • Background in web development projects, with an emphasis on API integrations
  • Proficiency in API and integration platforms
  • Competency in defining and documenting business requirements
  • Understanding of the Scrum framework and agile methodologies
  • Skills in writing clear and effective user stories for development teams
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have
  • Certifications in business analysis or related fields
  • Background in identity and access management solutions
  • Familiarity with creating customer-facing features
  • Expertise in mobile web development practices
  • Knowledge of additional project management tools
