We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between IT and business units, ensuring that technology solutions effectively meet the strategic needs of the company. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong ability to understand and translate business requirements into actionable IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between IT departments and business units to ensure effective collaboration and communication
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key business stakeholders to fully understand their needs, challenges, and goals
- Identify and assess potential opportunities for IT to bring added value to the business
- Convert identified business opportunities into detailed and actionable IT requirements
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop and execute solutions that address business needs while aligning with the IT strategy
- Organize and lead regular meetings and workshops with business stakeholders to gather feedback, discuss project progress, and resolve any issues
- Evaluate the impact of IT initiatives on business objectives, reporting outcomes to both IT and business leaders
- Keep abreast of industry trends to spot opportunities for technological innovation
- Support change management processes to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and procedures within the company
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Over 5 years of direct experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or in a similar role
- At least one year of experience in leadership and team management
- In-depth knowledge of insurance processes and the application of technology to enhance these processes
- Comprehensive understanding of IT systems, processes, and capabilities
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to think strategically and translate business needs into IT requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experienced in project management and change management
- Capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and fostering strong relationships at all organizational levels
- Fluent English skills at a C1 level or higher
