Lead Business Analyst (BI Analysis)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Business Analyst focused on BI Analysis within our Power BI Squad.

The right candidate will be responsible for envisioning and developing business intelligence (BI) solutions, fostering a data-driven culture, while also maintaining and enhancing existing BI systems.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with product owners and business strategy leaders
  • Assist in defining MVPs and iterative plans for delivering value via BI tools
  • Create and refine user stories with minimal supervision
  • Identify and track dependencies across divisions and teams
  • Develop test strategies and plans in collaboration with QA and the development team
  • Deliver incremental and continuous value to end users, ensuring alignment with user expectations
  • Troubleshoot production issues, and escalate them as necessary
  • Perform impact analysis to inform priority decisions and accelerate feature and user story definition and refinement
  • Monitor and measure the success of BI products and processes
  • Document risks associated with BI products/processes while ensuring compliance
  • Maintain complex business flow diagrams, including process maps and data flows
  • Conduct regular reviews for routine updates on disclosures, controls, and vendor scorecards
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining BI content using Tableau and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of Power BI administration and support
  • Familiarity with administrative settings and deployment processes in Power BI
  • Expertise in SQL writing and reviewing
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Skills in conducting complex business impact analysis
  • Knowledge of risk documentation and compliance policies
Nice to have
  • Experience with implementing and using Fabric in Power BI
  • Background in supporting end users directly in a BI environment
  • Competency in maintaining BI platform performance and usage monitoring
