We are thrilled to invite a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to join our product team.
In this role, you will take the lead in planning, developing and optimizing build and release processes, ensuring scalability, efficiency and quality across the organization. You will also mentor team members, coordinate cross-team efforts and drive strategic initiatives related to Azure services and CI/CD.

Responsibilities
- Define and drive the vision for scalable and cost-effective CI/CD pipelines across product teams with a focus on high performance and reliability
- Take ownership of Azure DevOps strategy while proactively identifying opportunities for infrastructure improvement and innovation
- Lead the team through the transformation from on-premise to hosted/SaaS platforms, leveraging Azure services and best practices
- Establish and document infrastructure standards, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure-related issues and guide resolution efforts
- Design and implement infrastructure as code using tools such as ARM, Terraform, Pulumi, while ensuring maintainability and scalability
- Collaborate across teams to share knowledge, establish DevOps best practices, and align priorities
- Develop and manage dashboards, monitors, and reporting to track performance and system health
- Act as a mentor to engineers, fostering growth and encouraging continuous improvement in DevOps methodologies
- Communicate with stakeholders to align technical plans with business priorities and expectations
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in DevOps engineering roles, with demonstrable leadership experience of over 1 year
- Extensive experience in administering CI/CD systems, developing complex build configurations and pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS), TeamCity, NuGet, MSBuild
- Deep proficiency in administering version control systems like Git (Azure DevOps) or SVN and fostering collaborative workflows in teams
- Expert-level proficiency in software development environments, particularly the Microsoft .NET stack, along with tooling such as Visual Studio
- Advanced scripting capabilities with PowerShell, with an ability to implement robust automation solutions
- Strong expertise in cloud technologies (primarily Azure), including design and management of networking, storage, integration, compute and analytics solutions
- Experience designing and operating Windows and Linux container solutions with orchestration platforms like Docker or Kubernetes at scale
- Proven ability to craft innovative, high-quality solutions and solve complex technical problems with creativity
- Leadership skills to supervise and coach team members, provide clear guidance and coordinate collaboration across teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure alignment and foster team effectiveness
- English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Advanced expertise with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible and their integration in enterprise workflows
- Substantial background in software development, especially with C# .NET, including participation in complex application architectures
- Experience with Linux operating systems like Ubuntu or RHEL, including managing hybrid environments
- Comprehensive understanding of network topologies and protocols paired with in-depth knowledge of security best practices
- Hands-on knowledge of front-end frameworks like Node.js, React or Angular to assist in wider project visibility and collaboration
