Lead Automation Tester in Java

Responsibilities
- Design functional, integration, and acceptance tests
- Define automated testing strategies for regression, functional, and smoke tests
- Ensure seamless integration of testing phases within the DevOps pipeline
- Detect and resolve system inconsistencies quickly
- Conduct automation testing for backend services
- Monitor and document defects rigorously
- Administer test data and environments effectively
- Handle version control of testing scripts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; preference for a Master’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in test automation
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in Gradle, Groovy, Java, Selenium, and Serenity BDD
- Background in developing and maintaining automation scripts
- Capability to build testing frameworks from scratch
- Familiarity with white box testing and mocking techniques
- Expertise in agile methodologies with strong analytical skills
- Skills in functional, integration, and regression testing
- Competency in designing unit tests for edge cases, usability, and system reliability
- Understanding of manual testing methodologies
- Qualifications in integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong documentation abilities and proficiency in English (B2 level or higher)
