Lead Automation Tester in Java
Our vibrant team is on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Lead Automation Tester specializing in Java.
The chosen applicant will be tasked with the design, implementation, and improvement of automation tests to ensure the highest quality standards across our software development processes. Responsibilities
- Develop and outline functional, integration, and acceptance tests
- Engineer automation solutions for regression testing, functional testing, and smoke testing
- Integrate testing phases within the DevOps pipeline seamlessly
- Identify and resolve system discrepancies promptly
- Execute automation testing for backend services
- Monitor defects and create detailed reports
- Govern the management of test data and environments
- Administer the version control for test scripts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years focused on test automation development
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Proficient in Gradle, Groovy, Java, Selenium, and Serenity BDD
- Experienced in developing and maintaining automation scripts
- Skilled in building testing frameworks from the ground up
- Well-versed in white box testing and mocking techniques
- Expert in agile methodologies with excellent analytical capabilities
- Strong qualifications in functional, integration, and regression testing
- Adept at developing unit tests that address edge cases, usability, and system reliability
- Solid understanding of manual testing practices
- Proven experience integrating testing strategies into CI/CD pipelines
- Outstanding documentation skills and proficiency in English (B2 level or higher)

- Experience with CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of GitHub
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
