Lead Automation Tester in Java

The ideal candidate will lead the creation, deployment, and enhancement of automated testing frameworks to ensure and maintain exceptional quality throughout our software development process. Responsibilities
- Architect automated testing frameworks for comprehensive quality assurance
- Design testing strategies for regression, functional, and smoke testing scenarios
- Integrate testing protocols seamlessly into the DevOps pipeline
- Detect and resolve system issues efficiently
- Conduct automation testing for backend processes
- Document and track system defects rigorously
- Administer and manage test data and environments
- Control versioning of automation scripts effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum 5 years in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 in automated test development
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a testing leadership role
- Proficiency in Gradle, Groovy, Java, Selenium, and Serenity BDD
- Background in developing and managing robust automation scripts
- Capability to design testing frameworks from the ground up
- Expertise in white box testing and mocking practices
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies with advanced analytical aptitude
- Knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing techniques
- Skills in creating unit tests catering to edge cases, usability, and system dependability
- Familiarity with manual testing methodologies
- Flexibility to integrate testing methods into CI/CD processes
- Advanced documentation skills and qualifications in English proficiency (B2 level or higher)
