Currently, we're looking for a remote Java Developer for a Financial Information Company to join our team.
The customer is a British-based stock exchange and financial information company. It helps companies to raise capital and investors to build their portfolios across a range of global markets.
Responsibilities
- Developing AWS based Volatility Surfaces service, adding new features and supporting the existing ones
- Analyzing Requirements with regular discussions with the Product Owner
- Proposing enhancements to the product
- Proposing architecture or technical approach to implementation of requirements
- Performing high quality tests-oriented development
- Root cause analyzing of infrastructure and application issues
- Interacting with our L2 Tech Ops support and DevOps support teams
- Interesting and complex business domain, challenging tasks, complex solution to implement
Requirements
- 6+ months of Java production experience
- Experience with Java
- Experience with Java 8/11, Spring, Spring Boot, REST Services, Swagger
- Knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, SQL
- Experience with AWS, Terraform
- Self-driven, goal-oriented team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work in an international environment
- English level B2+
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Liquibase
- Experience with Maven, Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, BAMS, SonarQube
- Knowledge of AWS (EC2, ECS, Aurora RDS, ALB, Fargate, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudWatch)
- Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Veracode
- Understanding of Concourse, GitLabCI
