We are seeking a Junior Data Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the creation of data-driven solutions.
This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment, develop technical skills, and gain hands-on experience with modern technologies. You will play a key role in supporting data engineering initiatives and delivering effective solutions to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and workflows for processing large-scale datasets
- Develop and improve SQL and NoSQL queries to support data storage and retrieval requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and implement solutions
- Participate in data integration efforts to ensure smooth communication between multiple systems
- Contribute to improving data quality by identifying and resolving inconsistencies in data sources
- Take part in Agile development processes to ensure timely and high-quality project outcomes
- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data workflows and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, either completed or currently in progress
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation
- Experience with Databricks for designing and managing data pipelines
- Solid understanding of SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases for managing structured and unstructured data
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile practices and frameworks for software development
- English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher, with strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation
Nice to have
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based data solutions
- Knowledge of implementing SDLC methodologies in data engineering projects
