We are seeking a Junior Data Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines and workflows for processing large datasets
- Write and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries to support data storage and retrieval needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions
- Work on data integration projects to ensure seamless communication between different systems
- Contribute to data quality initiatives by identifying and resolving inconsistencies in data sources
- Participate in Agile development processes to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data processes and workflows
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting tasks
- Experience with Databricks for building and managing data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases for managing structured and unstructured data
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile practices and processes for software development
- English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher, with strong communication skills for collaboration and documentation
Nice to have
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for data storage and cloud computing
- Familiarity with implementing SDLC processes in data engineering projects
