We are currently looking for a remote Technician Team Lead with a solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals and expert knowledge in JavaScript development to join our team.
The customer is India's largest premium streaming platform with more than 100000 hours of drama and movies in 17 languages.
The main pool of tasks is associated with help to review the current product and come up with recommendations about improvement, assess current requirements and help to form scope for future engagement.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders of product to deliver new user-facing features on the website
- Build reusable, high quality code and libraries for future use which can be used across multiple projects
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them
- Collaborate with other team members, designers and stakeholders to deliver on the features
Requirements
- A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field) degree
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Expert knowledge in JavaScript development (React JS)
- Highly enthusiastic and enjoy learning new technologies and frameworks
- Open source contribution is a plus
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt or Gulp
- 2+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
