We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Java Solution Architect to join our team.
In this position, you will be instrumental in crafting and implementing advanced solutions for clients in the Financial Sector. You will engage with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure the success of projects throughout Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Drive pre-sales initiatives in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador by designing technical solutions, outlining system architectures, and assisting with proposal preparation for financial sector clients
- Oversee client delivery assignments, fostering technical credibility and guiding engineering teams to achieve successful outcomes for complex, multi-application environments
- Demonstrate and implement AI/Run solutions, blending practical AI engineering with solution architecture to showcase value and promote adoption among clients in the region
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning technology solutions with business objectives, identifying areas for innovation, and supporting the expansion of client accounts
- Lead and mentor delivery teams, encouraging technical excellence, sharing knowledge, and building client trust in both pre-sales and delivery phases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area
- At least 8 years of experience in technology-focused roles
- Minimum of 3 years in leadership, management, architect, or coordinator capacities
- At least 2 years of experience managing teams of 20 or more people
- Involvement in at least 5 end-to-end project cycles or experience launching a product or significant product feature
- Proven background in designing systems architecture for enterprise and multi-application solutions
- Track record of success in pre-sales activities, including proposal creation, architecture planning, and presenting to both executive and technical stakeholders
- Hands-on experience in AI engineering, with the ability to design, promote, and deliver AI/Run solutions
- Experience leading delivery teams and managing client-facing projects to establish trust and ensure technical excellence
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud platforms, integration strategies, and modern enterprise architectures such as microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems
- Strong familiarity with the Financial Sector in Latin America, particularly in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, effective with both executive and technical audiences
- High-level proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken

- Understanding of regulatory frameworks in Latin American financial markets
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
