We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Java Solution Architect to join our team.
In this position, you will be instrumental in architecting and delivering advanced solutions for clients in the Financial Sector. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure project success throughout Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Direct pre-sales activities in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador by developing technical solutions, outlining system architectures, and assisting with proposal creation for financial sector clients
- Oversee client project delivery, establishing technical credibility and leading engineering teams to achieve successful outcomes for complex, multi-application systems
- Showcase and implement AI/Run solutions, integrating practical AI engineering with solution architecture to demonstrate value and drive adoption among clients in the region
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, identifying areas for innovation, and supporting account development
- Coach and support delivery teams, encouraging technical excellence, facilitating knowledge transfer, and building client trust in both pre-sales and delivery phases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in technology-focused positions
- At least 3 years in roles such as leader, manager, architect, or coordinator
- At least 2 years managing teams of 20 or more individuals
- Experience participating in at least 5 complete project cycles or launching a product or significant product feature
- Proven ability in designing systems architecture for enterprise and multi-application solutions
- Demonstrated success in pre-sales, including proposal development, architecture design, and presenting to both executive and technical stakeholders
- Practical experience in AI engineering, with the capability to design, advocate for, and deliver AI/Run solutions
- Background in leading delivery teams and managing client-facing projects to foster trust and ensure technical excellence
- Thorough knowledge of cloud platforms, integration strategies, and modern enterprise architectures such as microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems
- Strong understanding of the Financial Sector in Latin America, particularly in Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, effective with both executive and technical audiences
- Advanced fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Knowledge of regulatory standards in Latin American financial markets
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence solutions
