We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with expertise in GCP to join our team.

In this position, you will focus on designing and building scalable, high-performance solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement features aligned with business needs and requirements
Build and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable Java-based applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of applications deployed on GCP
Write and maintain unit tests to uphold code quality and functionality standards
Take part in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless application functionality
Contribute to enhancing team processes and development workflows

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in software development
Proficient in Java, including expertise in Core, Collections, StreamAPI, and Concurrency
Experience working with JDK17+ and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
Practical experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow, including implementing Beam transforms (DoFn, ParDo, GroupByKey) and deploying/monitoring Dataflow jobs
Familiarity with GCP services like Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and security protocols
Capability to write unit tests using JUnit and actively participate in code reviews
Fluent Portuguese communication skills
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B1 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, including BigQuery, relational databases, or NoSQL systems
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Familiarity with data formats like AVRO or Parquet
Experience handling XML and XSD
Understanding of Equifax GBP systems and related workflows
