We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with expertise in GCP to join our team.
In this position, you will focus on designing and building scalable, high-performance solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement features aligned with business needs and requirements
- Build and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable Java-based applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of applications deployed on GCP
- Write and maintain unit tests to uphold code quality and functionality standards
- Take part in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless application functionality
- Contribute to enhancing team processes and development workflows
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software development
- Proficient in Java, including expertise in Core, Collections, StreamAPI, and Concurrency
- Experience working with JDK17+ and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Practical experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow, including implementing Beam transforms (DoFn, ParDo, GroupByKey) and deploying/monitoring Dataflow jobs
- Familiarity with GCP services like Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and security protocols
- Capability to write unit tests using JUnit and actively participate in code reviews
- Fluent Portuguese communication skills
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B1 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, including BigQuery, relational databases, or NoSQL systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Familiarity with data formats like AVRO or Parquet
- Experience handling XML and XSD
- Understanding of Equifax GBP systems and related workflows
