We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Java Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting, designing, and developing high-performing, scalable, and secure software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative technology and process solutions that support critical business capabilities. Key responsibilities include building microservices, designing robust solutions, driving process improvements, and ensuring the reliability of production environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement reusable Kotlin libraries that serve as core components for the NG-Commerce system, enabling seamless integration and cross-platform functionality
  • Deliver high-quality software by adhering to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Drive the realization of strategic initiatives and operational improvements through innovative technical solutions
  • Establish and maintain cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology partners
  • Communicate complex technical ideas and concepts in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical peers and stakeholders
  • Effectively manage and collaborate with technology vendors to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Implement technologies in accordance with Information Security's principles for handling highly sensitive data
  • Provide high-availability operational support and automate solutions across the environment to enhance system performance
  • Implement deep telemetry capabilities to monitor ongoing success and performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain service monitoring tools to ensure continuous availability and operational continuity of critical systems
  • Adhere to company policies and comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Configure and maintain system baselines to support secure application development and enforce software control best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Java Developer
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, with experience building reusable libraries and core components
  • Strong understanding of REST API development, including best practices for creating secure and efficient endpoints
  • Experience developing and maintaining backend services, with a focus on scalability and performance
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems and multi-tier architectures
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and operating services on major cloud platforms, such as AWS
  • Proficiency with databases such as Cassandra, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with message-driven architecture and development, including tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Proven ability to debug and optimize code as well as automate routine tasks to streamline workflows
  • Experience implementing and managing high-capacity, redundant, and mission-critical systems
  • Proven track record of running and maintaining 24x7 production environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD automation, infrastructure ownership, and monitoring and alerting configuration
  • Experience uplifting existing services from on-premises to the cloud is a strong advantage
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher

  • Experience with Scala, including its application in building scalable and performance-focused solutions for backend services
