Instructional Designer
A creative and innovative Instructional Designer is sought to join our remote team.
Our Learning and Development unit aids clients in achieving digital and IT transformation by pinpointing and bridging gaps in employee knowledge, behaviors, and attitudes. We devise a range of online and in-person learning solutions, such as videos, articles, podcasts, interactive eLearning, coaching, experiential learning, instructor-led training, and assessments, utilizing the most recent findings from the learning sciences. We exceed merely providing 'training' to craft learning experiences that genuinely deliver results.

- Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts to pinpoint the learning requirements of the target audience
- Formulation of learning objectives tailored to learner and program needs
- Selection, modification, and creation of compelling content that aligns with learning objectives and modality
- Construction of engaging learning activities to enhance the learning process
- Conceptualization of storyboards and collaboration with graphic designers and multimedia developers to develop effective instructional assets such as video and eLearning interactives
- Visualization of instructional graphics, the user interface, and the final product
- Creation of assessment methods to gauge the effectiveness of an element, module, or course
- Maintenance of project documentation and course folders
- Regular communication with SMEs and colleagues throughout the development process
- Application of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to all activities
- Development of strong relationships with internal teams to utilize internal tools and resources
- Possession of a degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related discipline
- Minimum of three years of Instructional Design experience
- Minimum of two years' experience using authoring tools such as Captivate, Storyline, or Evolve to create advanced adaptive learning content
- Familiarity with instructional design methodologies including but not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, e-learning blueprint, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and multimedia principles
- A good eye for visual design
- Capability to work in a high-paced environment
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; a careful listener and a proficient communicator
- Passion, energy, a positive mindset, and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with Vyond
- Expertise in multimedia development
- Experience ensuring content compliance with usability standards, Section 508, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
