We are looking for an individual to join our vibrant team as a remote GCP Cloud Practice Lead. This role is ideal for those with substantial technical knowledge in Cloud GCP and significant recognition in the local tech scene. As a key team member, you'll be responsible for amplifying our company's technical brand within the local technical community through various platforms such as podcasts, blogs, and active engagements in meetups. With your hands-on experience in GCP, Terraform, Bash, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and Software Configuration Management Tools, you'll coordinate and propel initiatives in the cloud space.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement strategies to stimulate growth and foster engagement within the local technical community
  • Lead and coordinate initiatives in the cloud sector, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Apply your technical expertise in the creation and rollout of Cloud GCP solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships within the tech community to encourage networking opportunities and foster partnerships
  • Offer technical mentorship and support to community members, guiding them through challenges and keeping them abreast of the latest industry trends
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud development
  • At least 2 years experience in the Architect role
  • Successful leadership of technical teams on at least 3 projects/cases in the last 2-3 years, with continuous hands-on work or exposure to customers through pre-sale activities
  • A strong technical background, with proven hands-on experience in Cloud GCP
  • Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Software Configuration Management Tools
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Ruby, and Python
  • Familiarity with Terraform
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with community members
  • Proven experience in mentoring Engineers in the cloud development
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills (B2+ level)

  • A personal technology podcast or blog demonstrating expertise in Cloud GCP
  • Advanced skills in public speaking and presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of additional cloud platforms and services
