We are in search of a dedicated and seasoned Functional Testing Engineer eager to join our proactive team.
In this position, you will manage the planning, crafting, and executing functional tests to assess the quality and performance of software applications.
Responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and guarantee in-depth test evaluation
- Leadership in functional testing initiatives, evaluation of test results, and identification of issues
- Mentorship for junior testing engineers and guidance on best testing practices
- Supervision of test environments, test data, and testing tools to support functional testing
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in QA
- Comprehensive understanding of testing principles and functional testing techniques
- Skilled in using test management tools and defect tracking systems
- Proficiency in automated testing tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or UFT
- Exposure to software development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Knowledgeable in continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
- Aptitude for designing detailed test cases based on system requirements
- Previous involvement in software development, quality assurance, or similar roles
